Located in Nashville Tennessee, The 404 Kitchen is where southern charm meets European flare. Having ties to Louisville Kentucky the client wanted to mix textures and rustic elements of his childhood with elevated touches from his training in London and France.

This beach house isn’t just a place to escape—it’s designed as a sanctuary where the coast meets quiet luxury. The design draws inspiration from its coastal setting, but avoids cliché. It’s not about being old—it’s about feeling grounded, calm, and connected to nature. The house is designed to feel breezy and intentional. Every space flows with ease, encouraging barefoot living and sun-drenched mornings. Clean lines and layered textures bring clarity, while subtle nods to coastal life keep the mood relaxed and familiar.

Each property is its own world—bold, immersive, and designed to attract guests who want more than a place to sleep. They want a place to remember. Every location has a unique identity, but together they form a cohesive brand experience under “The Playful Stay Collection.” The vision is to create a series of Airbnb properties that are not just places to sleep—but destinations in themselves. Each space is an immersive experience, rooted in play, personality, and storytelling. This collection is designed to stand out in a crowded market, offering guests an unforgettable stay that’s as photogenic as it is comfortable.

ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Sam —interior designer, treasure hunter, beach lover, iced coffee enthusiast, and dog mom.
My journey into design wasn’t a straight line—and that’s what makes it special. I originally studied Hospitality Management and Tourism, drawn to the way thoughtful spaces and experiences can make people feel at home, no matter where they are. After working in that world for a while, I realized what I loved most was the environments themselves—the mood a space creates, the textures, the light, the details. So I followed that instinct and made a career change into interior design.
Since then, I’ve earned certifications from the New York Institute of Art & Design and Nashville State and 6 years of experience.
I find inspiration everywhere, but especially in travel. Whether I’m exploring a street market abroad or digging through a dusty antique shop, I’m always chasing that one special piece with a story. I believe that great design comes from mixing the old with the new, the refined with the raw, and the personal with the practical.
